Top Wireless Gaming Mice of 2024

When it comes to wireless gaming mice, innovation is at an all-time high. We’re seeing flawless sensors with lightning-fast polling rates up to 8,000 Hz, ergonomic shapes tailored for comfort, and designs that push the boundaries of what’s possible. From reviving old classics to refining existing models, and even introducing some that quite literally flex in your hand, the competition is fierce. So, which mouse reigns supreme? Without further ado, let’s dive into my top five wireless gaming mice of 2024, ranked by their standout features and performance.

1. Lamzu Thorn

Despite a plethora of ergonomic mice on the market, the Lamzu Thorn has remained a favorite for a few reasons. With a soft matte coating and a weight of just 52 grams, this mouse offers exceptional comfort. Its design features more rounded curves, particularly on the left side, making it more comfortable than other ergonomic mice that tend to dig into your hand.

Collaborating with the popular esports team Fnatic, the Lamzu Thorn also includes a version with a striking orange hue and a 4,000 Hz polling rate. As one of the best wireless mice you can buy, it finished third in the top five mice of 2023. Will it maintain its position this year?

2. Pulsar Xite V3

Pulsar has been known for quality control issues and a slew of color variations, but they’ve made significant strides with the Xite V3, available in both standard and esports versions. The standard version impresses with its overall quality and polished design. Though the esports version includes a 4,000 Hz polling rate, aluminum scroll wheel, and a slightly heavier weight of 65 grams, the standard version is my pick for its superior feel. If you want the 4,000 Hz polling rate, you can opt for the esports version or buy a separate wireless dongle. Despite a sharper curve on the lower left section that might not suit a tight palm grip, the Xite V3’s coating and weight of just 55 grams make it a high-quality choice, marking a significant improvement from Pulsar’s previous models.

3. SPRE PM1

A newcomer to the market, SPRE made a splash with their debut mouse, the PM1. Although it’s a mini version rather than a full-size G703, the PM1 stands out with its high-quality build and unique ergonomic design. SPRE addressed initial issues with squeaky mouse buttons by offering free replacements, showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction. The PM1 uses top-tier optical switches from Omron, providing a superior feel compared to other optical switches. With a shape reminiscent of the legendary G703 and a lightweight build of just 43 grams, the PM1 is one of the best debut gaming mice I’ve seen.

4. VXI XCS

Known for producing some of the highest quality gaming mice, VXI has outdone themselves with the XCS. Weighing around 58 grams, it’s the heaviest mouse on this list, but the tradeoff in quality is worth it. Featuring mechanical switches for the best feeling clicks, a 4,000 Hz polling rate standard with the included dongle, and the new 3950 sensor from PixArt, the XCS is a standout. Its symmetrical design suits all grip types for small to medium-sized hands, and the smooth coating adds to its comfort. This mouse is a perfect combination of weight, size, switches, and quality.

5. Razer Viper V3 Pro

Razer’s Viper V3 Pro is a more polished version of the Viper series, aiming to challenge the market dominance of the Logitech G Pro X Superlight. With performance enhancements including support for up to 8,000 Hz wireless polling rate and a solution for battery life reduction, the Viper V3 Pro stands out. It features an impressive build quality, the best stock mouse feet, and an improved coating. Weighing 54 grams, it feels solid despite its lightweight. The DPI button on the bottom, preferred by many pro gamers, adds to its appeal. This mouse justifies its high price with top-tier performance and features.

Conclusion

The best wireless mouse award goes to the Razer Viper V3 Pro. Its unparalleled performance, innovative polling rate solution, high-quality build, and gamer-preferred features make it the undisputed best wireless mouse of 2024.
